Everything you need to know before renting a roll-off container in Albany, GA.
Call Now: (229) 394-2965Most residential rentals in the Albany area fall between $300 and $550 for a 7-day period. The price depends on the container size and the type of debris. Every quote includes delivery, pickup, the rental period, and disposal — no hidden fees on top. Call (229) 394-2965 for your exact price.
No. We quote a flat rate that includes everything — delivery, pickup, 7-day rental, and disposal up to the included weight allowance. No fuel surcharges, no environmental fees, no gate fees, no trip charges. The only additional cost that could apply is if you exceed the included weight allowance (we tell you the limit upfront) or if you need the dumpster longer than 7 days (daily extension rate quoted in advance).
No. We charge the same flat rate throughout our service area — Albany, Leesburg, Dawson, Sylvester, Americus, Moultrie, Cordele, Tifton, Camilla, Bainbridge, Ashburn, and Smithville all get the same pricing. No mileage charges, no fuel surcharges for distance.
Each dumpster size includes a weight allowance (typically 2–8 tons depending on size). If your load weighs more than the included allowance, we charge a per-ton overage rate that we disclose before you rent. For most residential projects (household junk, construction debris, yard waste), you won't come close to the limit. Heavy materials like concrete, brick, and dirt are the main items that can push you over.
We typically take payment information when you book, but your card isn't charged until the dumpster is delivered. Some rentals can be invoiced upon completion. Call to discuss payment options for your specific project.
It depends on your project. Here's a quick guide:
10 yard — Small cleanouts: one-room remodel, garage cleanout, yard debris. About 3 pickup truck loads.
20 yard — Mid-size projects: kitchen/bath remodel, single-layer roof tear-off, deck removal. About 6 pickup truck loads. This is our most popular residential size.
30 yard — Major work: whole-house renovation, new construction debris, large demolition. About 9 pickup truck loads.
40 yard — Commercial and large-scale: full demolition, commercial buildouts, industrial cleanup. About 12 pickup truck loads.
Not sure? Call us, describe your project, and we'll recommend the right size. We'd rather you get the right container than overpay for space you won't use. Full size guide →
If you fill the dumpster and still have debris left, call us. We can swap it for a larger container or deliver a second one. We'd rather help you get the right size upfront, but we understand that projects sometimes generate more waste than expected.
A 10 yard has 3.5-foot walls (easy to load by hand). A 20 yard has 4.5-foot walls. A 30 yard has 6-foot walls. A 40 yard has 8-foot walls. All of our containers have a rear swing door that opens so you can walk debris in rather than lifting everything over the top.
A 10 yard container is 12 feet long and 8 feet wide — roughly the size of a large SUV. The 20, 30, and 40 yard containers are all 22 feet long and 8 feet wide. Most residential driveways in the Albany area can accommodate up to a 30 yard container. If space is tight, the 10 yard is a great option — it fits in almost any driveway or parking area.
Same-day delivery is available in Albany and Leesburg when you call before noon. Next-day delivery is standard throughout our entire service area (Dawson, Sylvester, Americus, Moultrie, Cordele, Tifton, Camilla, Bainbridge, Ashburn, Smithville). Call early in the day for the best scheduling options.
Standard rental period is 7 days. If you need more time, just call before the 7 days are up and we'll extend at a flat daily rate (quoted in advance). Most people finish their project well within the 7-day window.
Wherever is most convenient for your project — driveway, yard, parking lot, or job site. When you call, tell us where you'd like it and we'll confirm that our truck can access that spot. We place protective boards under the container wheels to prevent damage to your driveway or pavement.
When you're done loading, call us. We schedule pickup within 24 hours (often same-day). Make sure the debris is below the top edge of the container — we can't haul an overloaded dumpster for safety reasons. If the dumpster is overloaded, we'll ask you to remove the excess material before we haul it.
No. As long as we have clear access to the placement spot and you've told us where to put it, we can drop off and pick up without anyone being home. We'll call you when delivery and pickup are complete.
Most common materials are accepted: household junk, furniture, appliances (with doors removed), mattresses, carpet, flooring, drywall, lumber, roofing shingles, siding, cabinets, fixtures, yard waste, branches, dirt, and general construction debris. Concrete and brick are accepted but may affect your weight allowance — let us know if you're disposing of heavy materials.
The following items are prohibited:
Hazardous materials — paint, stains, varnish, solvents, pesticides, motor oil, antifreeze, and cleaning chemicals. Batteries of any kind. Tires. Asbestos and asbestos-containing materials. Medical waste. Electronics (TVs, monitors, computers). Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units that still contain refrigerant. Propane tanks. Flammable liquids.
Not sure about a specific item? Call us at (229) 394-2965 and we'll tell you.
Yes, but these are heavy materials that affect your weight allowance. A 10 yard container of concrete can weigh 10+ tons — far exceeding the standard weight limit. If you're disposing of concrete, brick, block, dirt, or stone, tell us when you call. We'll recommend the right size and weight allowance so you don't get hit with overage charges.
Yes. Most residential and construction dumpsters are loaded with mixed debris — some drywall, some lumber, some household items, some yard waste. That's completely normal and doesn't affect pricing. The only exception is if you're disposing of all-concrete or all-dirt loads, which may need a different weight allowance.
If the dumpster sits on your private property (driveway, yard, or job site), no permit is typically required. If you need the container placed on a public street, sidewalk, or right-of-way, you may need a placement permit from the City of Albany. We can walk you through the process if your project requires street placement.
Some HOAs in Lee County and the Albany metro area have rules about dumpster placement, duration, and screening. If you live in an HOA community, check your covenants before booking or call your HOA office. We can usually work around HOA restrictions by using a smaller container, placing it in a less visible location, or shortening the rental period.
Debris must not extend above the top edge of the container walls. This is a safety and legal requirement — an overloaded dumpster can't be safely transported on public roads. If you think you might fill the container above the rim, consider stepping up to the next size.
Fill out the form and we'll get back to you with an exact price — usually within the hour.
